Opto Diode (Newbury Park, CA) has introduced
the ODD-SXUV-DLPSD, a duo-lateral UV/EUV
submicron-position resolution sensor. The new
device provides a stable response after expo-
sure to ultraviolet and/or extreme ultraviolet
radiation. It is available in a TO- 8 windowless pack-
age to minimize changes in the diode’s respon-
sivity after exposure to intense UV/EUV photons.
■ Position detection of light from 1 to 400 nm wavelengths.
■ A responsivity of 13 nm at 0.20 A/W, and a responsivity at 254 nm at 0.02 A/W.
■ A minimum reverse breakdown voltage of 50 V.
■ A capacitance of 40 (typical) to 60 (max) pF.
■ An operating temperature range from - 10° to 40°C (ambient) and from - 20° to 80° (in
nitrogen or vacuum conditions).
■ A max junction temperature of 70°C.
■ A lead-soldering temperature of 260°C at 0.080" from the case for 10 seconds.

MA) has introduced a digital current
sensor IC targeted at server, telecom,
and power monitoring current sensor IC
applications within the industrial, consumer, and computer markets. Allegro’s
ACS764 fully integrated hall-effect current sensor IC is designed for applications that require digital current sensing and reporting through an I²C bus.

Saelig (Fairport, NY) has
announced the IST8301C, a single-chip 3-axis digital magnetometer sensor housed in a small form
factor ( 2. 5 x 2. 5 x 1.0 mm) 12-pin BGA package.
The IST8301C is an integrated chip containing
3-axis magnetic sensors with an ASIC controller.
The compact form factor is easily surface-mounted
and is suited to high-volume production consumer
electronics, navigation systems, and magnetometers.
