PC-Compatible Thermal Transfer Printer
K-Sun Corp. (Somerset, WI) has introduced the
LW-PX900 portable and PC-compatible thermal
transfer printer. The LW-PX900 is designed for safety/
compliance, IT/electrical installation standards, quality
improvement, and 5S/lean/visual workplace labeling.
■ Drop-Stop, which holds a label after it is cut so it
won’t drop out of the printer.
■ Pick & Print, which automatically
pauses after printing and cutting
the first label in a series and
resumes printing/cutting when the
label is removed.
■ Mixed-Length, which lets the user
create a strip of variable-length
labels with a half-cut.
■ Removable magnetic feet.
■ A reduced lead margin of 4 mm.
■ Adjustable left/right margins down
to 1 mm.
■ 360-dpi, high-speed printing.
Power Interface Boards
Pixus Technologies (Waterloo, Ontario) has
introduced power boards in multiple configurations for
VITA 62 power supplies. The power boards are used
in many rugged OpenVPX applications. The Pixus
VITA 62 Power Interface Boards (PIB) come in 3U and
6U heights in either single PSU or dual PSU formats.
