NewProducts T E S
& Direction Sensor
Allegro MicroSystems (Worchester, MA) has announced a dual-output sensor solution that provides a single IC to rotational position sensing applications with a ferrous gear target. A single IC
allows users to sense smaller or higher resolution teeth for added accuracy. Features include:
■ 3 Hall elements to create 2 independent differential channels.
■ A digital circuit designed to eliminate the effects of magnet and system offsets.
■ Open-drain outputs that provide voltage output signals which mirror the sensed target’s shape.
■ Availability in a 4-lead SIP package.
USB 3.0 Board Level Camera
Baumer (Southington, CT) has further developed the MX camera series by adding a USB
3.0 interface and other performance features,
increasing added value for users in industrial
image processing installations or medical and
laboratory technology. Features include:
■ Availability with resolutions from VGA to
■ Detection up to 160 frames per second.
■ Global shutter sensors in monochrome and
■ Compatibility with software libraries for indus-
trial image processing such as NI LabVIEW,
MVTec HALCON, or Matrox Imaging Library.
■ A remote 28. 5 x 28. 5 mm sensor head.
CCD Color Line
Chromasens (Burlington, MA) has announced
the allPIXA pro, a fast color line scan CCD camera for high-speed machine vision applications.
The cameras offer color accuracy combined with
flexibility to help solve challenging inspection
problems. Features include:
■ Line rates of up to 87 kHz in standard
models and up to 148 kHz in special OEM
■ Availability in resolutions from 2,048 x 3
to 7,300 x 3 pixels.
■ Continuous white balancing.
■ A full range of programmable features.
