Lenze Americas (Uxbridge, MA) has expanded its PC-based control-
ler series with the release of the Cabinet Controller c300 and Panel
sequence controls, the
new cabinet controller c300 is a small control system with motion func-
tionality. Features include:
■ I/O modules, which can be connected in series.
■ Integrated master interfaces for EtherCAT and CanOpen.
■ A PLC and superior HMI visualization.
■ An energy-efficient ARM Cortex-A8-processor with 800 MHz clock
frequency to provide computing power.
■ Availability in screen sizes of 10. 9 cm ( 4. 3"), 17. 8 cm ( 7"), and 26. 4 cm
( 10. 4").
■ A resistive touch display.
■ An integrated UPS with 128 Kb memory.
The ETP Power single radial screw design from Zero-Max (Plymouth, MN) ensures fast mounting, repositioning, and
phasing of the components to the shafts. The screws can be quickly readjusted hundreds of times without any axial
movement of the bushing or component along the keyless shaft. An Allen wrench is all that is required to mount
and lock these bushings into place. They have sealed, clean lines that resist debris collection
and clean without any special maintenance. Features include:
■ A double-walled sleeve filled with a pressure medium.
■ A unique, single adjusting screw design.
■ The ability to handle torque ranges from 531 to 10,620 in-lbs. (60 – 1,200 Nm).
Utilizing a smaller positioning
error within one signal, the new ERM 2200 rotary encoder series
from HEIDENHAIN (Schaumburg, IL) allows finer accuracy
requirements to be met on machine tools. The ERM utilizes
magnetoresistive scanning technology that is insensitive to con-
tamination, so these encoders excel in even the harshest machine
tool environments. Features include:
■ A 200 µm signal period.
■ An inside diameter of 70 to 380 mm.
■ An overall height when mounted to the machine of 20 mm.
■ Distance-coded reference marks.
■ A 1 Vpp interface.
