Unique Sound Module
EAO (Milford, CT) has developed a unique, configurable sound mod-
ule to alert people for potentially dangerous situations. The new 56
Multi-Tone Sound Module (MTSM) detects background noise and
adapts its volume to be a pre-defined number of decibels above ambi-
ent noise levels (+ 2 or + 8 dB, others on request). The self-adjusting
Series MTSM features:
■ A choice of 6 pre-configured tone sequences that can be set to play
at different intervals, durations, and repeats.
■ A set of pre-configured TSI PRM compliant sounds.
■ An outside diameter of 43 mm (mounting dependent).

Hazardous Location
Relay Module
Via internal system voltage, WAGO’s
(Germantown, WI) new 2-Channel
Relay Output Module directly activates
Intrinsically Safe circuits, powering
actuators in hazardous locations. This
relay module supports diverse hazardous
location applications and features:
■ 2 changeover contacts for activating
Zone 0/20 and 1/21 devices.
■ A switching voltage/current of 125
VAC/0.5 A and 30 VDC/1 A.
■ Normal Open (NO) contacts that are
electrically isolated.
■ On-board LEDs that indicate relay
switching status.

TE Connectivity (Harrisburg, PA) has
announced a line of 16 Gb/s Small
Form-Factor Pluggable
(SFP+) connectors for
the data communications industry.
Features include:
■ Enhanced side walls,
vertical separators, and latch plate areas
to create an airflow channel throughout
the cage body.
■ Reduced EMI to about 10 to 12 dBm
( 10 the 15 GHz range).
■ A gasket retention plate that has been reconfigured into a right
angle design with multiple attachment points.

Flexibility in Measurment
Omega’s (Stamford, CT) new CNi-AL series offers flexibility in process
measurement and limit alarm applications. CNi-AL can be used to
monitor the temperature of a plastics extruder, and with the programmable limit alarm setpoints, the controller can provide a visual display
color change and a latching limit alarm output to shut down if an alarm
condition exists. Features include:
■ AC or DC powered units.
■ Front removable plug connectors.
■ A programmable digital filter.
■ A high/low limit.
■ Remote reset input.
■ Programmable color
displays.
■ Built-in excitation.
■ 2 relay alarm outputs.

Accurate Force Pneumatics:
L et it move you.
When your inventive vision calls for pneumatic control of force, motion, and isplacement that delivers unparalleled accuracy and resolution, it’s Airpot
first. Our problem-solving line up of instrument-quality products will keep your
project moving. And our Accurate Force Pneumatics is the key.
With a precision glass cylinder/seal-free piston technology, coupled with ultra-high
quality pneumatics, you’ll find products that give you levels of force and motion
control nearly unobtainable by any other pneumatic means.
What’s more, many of our products can outlast any machine you put them in.
And that’s something we can guarantee.
So, when your specifications call for a damping, actuation, pressure sensing, or
displacement device that is optimized for exceedingly accurate and repeatable force
control — and at a cost lower than other methods providing comparable function
and performance— give one of our application engineers a call.
Let’s get started. Whether you’re designing or improving a product line to better
serve your customers, or building specialized equipment for research, high-level
testing, or precision assembly, get Airpot Corp involved early in your process. Call
