The new Yokogawa (Newnan, GA) DLM4000 is the industry’s first mixed-signal oscilloscope to feature
eight channels. Combining the large screen and 8-channel capability of Yokogawa’s earlier 8-channel
DL7480 oscilloscope, with the mixed-signal technology of the company’s pioneering DLM2000 Series,
the instrument is suited to test and debug applications in embedded systems, power
electronics, mechatronics, and automotive sectors. Features include:
■ A new L16 option that adds 16 more channels of logic to give 7 channels of analog, plus a 24-bit
■ Automated measurement of power parameters for up to 4 pairs of voltage and current waveforms.
■ Availability in 2 models with bandwidths of 350 and 500 MHz and a sampling rate of 1.25 GS/s,
expandable to 2. 5 GS/s with interleaving.

TREK (Lockport, NY) has announced a
new hand-held 2 kV electrostatic voltmeter
which enables high-accuracy voltage measurement – in contacting or non-contacting
mode – with virtually zero charge transfer. This level of
technical capability is important to the semiconductor
manufacturing industry, in materials research, and for
applications sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Features include:

surface as the it approaches.
